HOT BALLOON RIDE

Once at the place that you are taking the hot balloon, you need to do the check-in, it’s important to bring with you any ID for the process. After that you can enjoy a small coffee break, while enjoying the show that it is the preparation of the hot balloons and take photos on land if you want. Then the staff will call you to show you which will be your balloon and introduce you to your captain. Depending of the weather, the ride could be really close from the Teotihuacan and a breathless view of the sunrise. For landing, the captain is going to look the best place and from there the staff is going to pick you up and get back to same place that you start. There a breakfast buffet it will be waiting for you: chilaquiles, scrambled eggs, black beans, season fruit, yogurt, bread, juices, coffee and tea.

ARCHEOLOGICAL SITE TEOTIHUACAN

Once at TEOTIHUACAN, we want you to take advantage of being one of the first to arrive and so the first place we will see inside the archeological site is the PYRAMID OF THE SUN, PYRAMID OF THE MOON, TEMPLE OF QUETZALCOATL. We want you to have an intimate encounter with the pyramids and be able to take MAGNIFICIENT PICTURES without people. Take as many selfies as you like and your guide will also take many pictures of you – we are sure that one of these pictures will be your next profile picture, a photo with one of the most impressive and huge pyramids of MEXICO.

The archeological site of TEOTIHUACAN was open for the public in 1910, it was discover by Leopoldo Batres one of the first archaeologist of Mexico who worked with Porfirio Diaz, the current president of Mexico in the 1900´s. The important things to see in TEOTIHUACAN are: 1) The temple of Quetzalcoatl, 2) The Pyramid of the Sun, 3) The Pyramid of the Moon, 4) The temple of Quetzalpapalotl, 5) Calzada de los Muertos, 6) Mural puma. Please note that around 10.30 am it start getting hot so please take several bottles of water with you and keep drinking water to STAY HYDRATED.

Your guide, who is fluent in ENGLISH and certified by the INAH (National Institute of Anthropology and History), will give you an extensive narrative about the site and the Teotihuacan culture and most importantly he will answer ALL your questions. BASILICA DE GUADALUPE

After visiting TEOTIHUACAN, we go back to the City you can choose to visit the second place more visited among the Catholicism around the world, Basilica de Guadalupe. The compound has different buildings dedicated to the first religion in Mexico. Take a look and admire the beauty of the most iconic place that has the legend of the vision from the Virgin Maria, at the Hill of Tepeyac.

The Basilica de Guadalupe was open for the public in 1700´s. The important chapels and cathedrals to see are  1) The new Cathedral  2)The first Cathedral that was built in the 1700´s  3) Capilla de los Indios 4) Capilla del pocito  5) Capilla del cerro del Tepeyac. Please note on weekends could be a little crowed because they celebrate baptisms and mass. 

TRAVELING BACK

When you are ready we will head back to the hotel or your Airbnb. For the ride back we can find traffic into the city it could take 30-45 minutes the way back
